International Exchange Takoyaki Party

We hosted an "International Exchange Takoyaki Party" at Sakura Hall on the Hino Campus, inviting international students from the Tokyo Hino International College, a Japanese language school in Hino City.This event was organized by members of the J-Global Community, a group of Jissen Women's University with an interest in global activities.Through making and eating takoyaki, students of Jissen Women's University were able to share Japanese culture, while the international students introduced the culture of their home countries. There were many instances of active information exchange.While dialogue-based international exchange is valuable, incorporating activities like "making and eating takoyaki together" helps make communication more accessible by fostering a collaborative environment.Moving forward, we will continue to work with the staff from the International Affairs Division and members of the J-Global Community to organize more campus events, creating even better opportunities for international exchange.
